It all started in Detroit, where we opened a restaurant in Detroit called “Dolby’s”. It’s where we perfected our “Detroit Style” corned beef. Time flies when you do what you love. We know because we have been making corned beef since 2008. Along the way, we have grown to becoming a trusted brand and leader in corned beef. We are proud of the quality food we make.
Our History
The beginning
Andre Hughes partnered with friends and opened a soul food restaurant in the city he was born and raised in; Detroit. Its where he perfected cooking corned beef... Detroit Style
Bad Luck
In 2010, Dolby's closed it's doors for good. Andre never gave up his love of cooking corned beef and continued to cook them for what he coined his Detroit style for his family, friends and catering events
Keep Grinding
Andre never quit striving to re-open his restaurant and kept his dream alive by feeding his family and friends while owning and operating a construction company.
Plan in Motion
Andre now a married man decided it was time to pursue his dream of owning a restaurant and they purchased property in Eastpointe Michigan and started the buildout
The World Shutdown
The restaurant buildout was halted due to the Covid-19 world wide epidemic. The shutdown afforded for re-planning and it was decided that the restaurant will be opened in Clinton Township
Ann Marie's is Official
In 2021, Ann Marie's buildout in the Clinton Township location started and the grand opening is planned for September 2022
